Erasmus Enterprise officially opens the 2023 entrepreneurial year
Erasmus Enterprise officially kicked off the 2023 entrepreneurial year with an impressive award ceremony and impactful round-table conversations. The event brought together visionaries, leaders and changemakers in the entrepreneurial landscape.
The highlight of the evening was the recognition of exceptional entrepreneurs who made remarkable contributions to their respective fields. Three prestigious awards were presented, spotlighting the extraordinary talent within the Erasmus Enterprise community.

Erasmus Enterprise is a dynamic entrepreneurial community on the EUR Woudestein Campus, where Rotterdam and Delft combine their multidisciplinary expertise with regional startup funds.
Through Erasmus Research and Business Support, Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship and Tech Incubator YES!Delft, it offers support to startups and scale-ups, ranging from idea validation to financing and scaling.
This is further strengthened by partnerships with investment funds such as UNIIQ and a network of alumni investors, helping entrepreneurs grow and increase their impact.

Valo turned the event into a real show
Erasmus Enterprise hired Valo for production support at this physical event. The brief was to turn it into an audiovisual show, complete with presentations, conversations, visuals and video fragments. Thanks to months of preparation and a tight production script, the Valo team was able to capture all programme elements with precision.
Audiovisual support
Valo provided audiovisual support with a mobile livestream studio suitable for both regular events and video recordings. This included room audio, microphones, screens for all show elements and a video connection to another room. A six-person team of professionals from the TV and events industry ensured flawless execution.

Live video connection to another room
In addition to the 100 students and entrepreneurs present, another 40 people in a different room watched the live feed on a large screen. The event was transformed into a festive and well-organised TV show.
Looking back on the event afterwards
A complete video recording of the event ensured that people who could not attend could still enjoy it afterwards. This preserves the shared knowledge and also serves as a communication tool to inspire entrepreneurs and students for next year.
