A spectacular corporate hybrid event
Dyson is an international technology company with offices and teams around the world. Every month, the company organizes a town hall meeting to connect employees, share results, explain strategy and strengthen the connection between management and staff.
To save time, effort, costs and CO₂ emissions, Dyson limited international travel to Amsterdam and asked Valo Online Events to develop a professional livestream solution.
A format inspired by TV talkshows
Dyson wanted more than a standard online meeting. The goal was a spectacular corporate event with the look and pace of a television talkshow, without compromising ease of use and professionalism.
Valo created a professional studio setup with multi-camera direction and multiple screens for presentations, video inserts, remote speakers and live interaction.
Microsoft Teams Live Events and Mentimeter
The livestream was broadcast through Microsoft Teams Live Events, allowing employees to join securely within their familiar work environment. Mentimeter was used to create additional interaction and engagement during specific moments.
Result
With tight direction, music and a dynamic pace, the town hall felt warm and accessible. The format now supports monthly livestreamed town hall meetings focused on experience, interaction and reliability.
