The new way of meeting: from online to hybrid
BMK works to improve the quality of childcare centers in the Netherlands and make childcare affordable for everyone.
During lockdowns, BMK could not hold physical general assemblies. Valo livestreamed the meetings online and later helped the organization continue with a hybrid format, allowing members to attend physically or online.
More efficient meetings
Agenda items and documents were shared before the meetings, allowing the formal program to move faster. Members asked questions through the chat, which the table host could answer organically or discuss with the room.
The platform Online ALV was used for the livestream and voting rounds, making the results visible immediately after each vote.
Result
Moving from physical to online and hybrid meetings led to positive member feedback and higher participation. It also made the meetings more efficient and more convenient for members.
