The Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment (SZW) was running an online recruitment campaign to attract people for the position of labor-market fraud inspector. It was looking for a partner for a livestream broadcast that was part of this campaign.
Background
The Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment saw the advantages of online events early on. Because there was a shortage of labor-market fraud inspectors, it had to recruit new people quickly. It chose to host an online event so it could reach a large audience in a short time.
Apply directly during the live Facebook event
In consultation with the ministry, a Facebook Live event was chosen. The event was also easy to reach through other social channels such as LinkedIn. During the livestream, the audience could click through to the SZW website and apply directly as candidates.
During the broadcast, various specialists spoke about their work and started a substantive discussion. All of this was broadcast from a mobile studio that Valo had built on location for them.
Participants could ask live questions that were answered by the speakers. This was made possible by a team of moderators. Before the event, Valo coached the speakers.
