An online platform for the annual company party

In the spirit of “every cloud has a silver lining,” the Water Board used the Covid measures as an opportunity to completely overhaul the familiar company party. In consultation, HHSK chose a hybrid event.
Alongside the people physically present in the studio, many colleagues follow the festivities from home via a super-fast livestream.
From a professional studio in Christmas style, they enjoy LIVE online a four-hour dazzling entertainment show, which includes elements from the proven hit format The Masked Singer. Viewers are treated to spectacular performances by colleagues in beautiful costumes, alternated with self-made videos from the various departments and a live call-in moment for the Christmas speech by the dijkgraaf, the water board’s chief executive.
Afterwards it turned out that, except for one or two people, all employees were present online or in the studio. In the days after the event, positive reactions poured in. Also from people who had had reservations beforehand about a virtual company party.
The conclusion is clear. Even when not everyone can be physically in one place, it turns out to be very possible to organize a thunderous company party that you and your colleagues will talk about for a long time.
