E-learning Livestream Series for A&O

The A&O fund had already organized several larger livestream events itself. These were mainly about sharing information with the target audience. Unfortunately, things were ‘glitching and crackling’ on several fronts during these events. The same was true for the online sessions with a smaller group of participants. Valo was asked to help with a strategy to put the organization’s online communication through the wash once and for all. And we never need to be told twice!

Livestream event & Zoom

For more professional online communication, in close consultation with A&O, a series of livestream events was chosen in the form of webinars with high-quality video content. The platform for the smaller online meetings was, for us, a no-brainer: a series of Zoom sessions.

Studio livestream

With our mobile studio packed with professional equipment, we organized a number of varied live webinars on site at A&O. During these webinars, employees of water authorities from across the Netherlands followed various lectures. Participants could also ask live questions via chat.

E-learning

The goal of A&O with these large livestream events was to provide their target audience with new knowledge and up-to-date information through e-learning. For example, how to work as ergonomically responsibly as possible to prevent all kinds of physical complaints.

Webinar series

For A&O’s goal of transferring knowledge quickly and efficiently, a large livestream event is the perfect solution. After all, this is mainly about ‘broadcasting’ information, and for that a webinar series is ideally suited.

Was there no interaction during the webinars at all? Certainly there was, but it was limited to a number of questions that could be asked via chat. Because you can ask any speaker: too many interruptions during your lecture create noise. And that doesn’t really help knowledge transfer.

Zoom

But A&O also wanted to exchange ideas with a smaller group from time to time. For example, to meet with the members of a single water authority about a local topic. In those cases, Valo quickly provided professional Zoom workshops in a small setup, with plenty of interaction possible.

Professional Zoom training

In a later phase, Valo also provided a number of short Zoom trainings. This enabled A&O employees to plan and run professional Zoom sessions on their own in no time. And that turned out to be very handy when they still wanted to organize a Zoom session at the last minute!

The benefits of a professional online event

Thanks to the accessibility and visual appeal of these versatile webinars, both the number of participants and their response turn out to be much greater than with traditional offline meetings or local get-togethers.

After just a few trainings, employees quickly become fully independent in creating and sharing quality content online.

And that ensures A&O a constant professional online presence. What’s more, producing it yourself turns out to be surprisingly easy and quickly saves a lot of costs!
